Morrell Targets Yellow Jacket YJ-450 Plus Review
Think I'll try one!
Osprey scope is full crap. Its cheap in all ways you can think. Bought top scope. Rep told me see 6.5 bullet hole on paper 200 yards. No way no how. Even difficult to focus. And couldn't even focus on 1in at 100 yards. Talk is cheap from the reps and so is the scopes. Give your money to the homeless. Better spent
Nice video and review. I just picked one of these up and looking forward to hunting out of it with my daughter this season.
Home Depot is mostly where I get my sheds
Maybe if you’d read some reviews and done your homework, you wouldn’t have had to buy so many!
No, part of what I do, is test equipment. Too many bias reviews out there. So, by doing this and having no stake in the game, it makes a review or opinion more valuable. Thanks for the comment.
How do you trim the stick?
I don’t recall this was a few years ago.
Works great for small game also yes work great on groundhogs
Would be great on turkey I bet
hmmm
Small game only for sure, never been the biggest fan of the blunt stun type of small game heads, can’t imagine they are very durable though.
They claimed you can use them on deer. But I wouldn't even try it on deer.
If this is set up in shop and a mouse should get in the shop can they chew through this material?
Yes. Mine is setup in the garage.
Where is the power cord hole on the older version Scent Locker closet?
I don’t recall, I gave it away after I shot this video.
That's a lie, they won't even answer the phone
Yea, they did us dirty and lied to us as well.
BEST BROADHEAD ON THE MARKET AND I SHOOT THE RIFT 2.2 BROADHEAD & THEY HAVE YET TO LET ME DOWN ... KILLED ALL DEER AND ALL FELL WITHIN EYESIGHT !
I recently switched off them because 1. The deer weren’t leaving a blood trail. 2. I wanted to go to a 4 blade Grim Reapers. 3. They aren’t the same company they were during this interview. It’s a shame.
@@NoBoundariesOutdoors they do suck after having bad luck myself and I am now using the SWAT X- MAG BROADHEADS
I LOVE the Covert Closet. By far my favorite piece
The room clean works well!!!!
The mobile shower is nice but will not eliminate the odor coming from ones body
I love when these deer scent companies tell you to use deer pee on the licking branch. I gotta laugh because last time I checked, deer do not lift their leg to pee let alone pee on the licking branch
I have tried every deer scent out there and every time the deer avoid the areas for a week or so
Many companies out there try to make everyone believe that we as hunters need their products to be successful and that is so far from the truth.
I am a firm believer in Scent Crusher
Welcome back
I am using Treezyn, the new Leafy Suit for early season but I am a BIG believer in Sitka Gear for the warnth and comfort.
garbage scopes in case u were researching. my lever to clamp my scope to the rail fell apart like its made of cheap meta
Mines working fine
I am new to climbing with ropes and saddle hunting, so I don't have much expertise to share, but I am having a blast learning. I have hunted in the coastal mountains of Oregon for deer, elk, bears, and cougars more than thirty years. Now I am an old man (71 yrs.) and it is just too hard for me to wander up and down the mountains like a kid any longer, so I needed to find a method of hunting more suitable to my age. There is no way for me to transport and set up a tree stand, so saddle hunting seemed perfect. Of course my wife and daughter thought I'd lost my mind when I told them I was going to start climbing trees. I hate ladders, so I chose to climb with a rope like arborists do. Even I had some doubts, but I found that playing on a rope was perhaps more fun at my old age than it was when I was a kid. On top of that, it is easy and it is safe. It is sooo much fun! Now, I haven't hunted from a saddle yet. I'll do that this Fall. Between now and then I will climb frequently for fun and exercise, scout for trees in good hunting locations, and will spend as much time in the trees as I can just to watch game and enjoy Nature. I wish I could say that saddle hunting is just fabulous, but can't until I have actual experience. However, climbing is just plain fun and I am certain hunting from the trees is going to be awesome for me. For all you young folks; learn to climb whether you hunt that way, or not. It is great fun. You will never regret it! BARE ESSENTIALS FOR CLIMBING; You can get by with a rope, a carabiner, and a saddle if you climb using the DRT climbing technique. There are lots of videos showing how easy that is. New York Saddle Hunters is a good place to look. There is also the SRT method, but you'll need more stuff ($).
Hey thanks for your comment! It will be an adventure for sure! It's great to see you embracing these new methods after you have tried other tried and true methods. I know for us, we'll be practicing this summer, and testing. Slowly buying the gear needed now.
Impressive ❤️
I picked up one recently at a gun show. My needs are very basic. We'll see how it performs.
Thanks for the video! Just went out to shoot and realized the Allen wrench set I keep in my bow case doesn’t go that small….. cant believe they used that small of screws for that vertical adjustment! Hopefully I can get this thing done
Any idea what's inside?
Great video! Thanks!!
Do not buy.
You don't know what your talking about these scopes are amazing for the price.
@@nathanpartin4512 bro there scopes are dog shit.
To late
Get rid of the sheer pin and use a simple band, make it so we can replace our own blades and price them fairly and you will sell a ton of those. Like the hidden blade technology.
So you do need to first loosen the Lt to Rt screw before turning the micro adjustment wheel...and clockwise takes the site to the left? There are no arrows on the wheel so hard to figure out when you first use it where it's going.
Garbage. Went to gun show. First of all, your reps shouldn't spit out the same BS sales pitch. "This scope is $100, but because you have a mullet and you're chewing my favorite gum, I will give it to you for $100, yeah?" Knew within one sentence I wouldn't buy one. Played with a few. First one, turrets were so tight I got trigger finger cramps turning. Second one, turret is turning but no clicks at all. Then turret literally pulls off. Third one, reticle is canted! Lol you have to be kidding me. Good clear glass is great but when you surround it with poop, it loses its appeal.
I like the Thorn heads but they are way overpriced. The crossbow broadheads are$69.97 for a three pack. That's absurd
Is it real? I can hardly believe it!!
They were at a gun show hear 2 weeks ago I picked up a couple scopes tactical to hunting and they had super clear glass and lots of options in reticals...I have lot of higher end scope on high end guns like my Daniel Defense/ambush m4v7 or my bagara prc just to name a few...I have a 40 gun safe with about 17 riffles and it gets really expensive...I keep telling myself to accessorize the guns I have now and cut back on buying new ones...but I'm thinking about giving them a chance...Leopold,Nikon's,vortex are getting expensive and i have alot of riffles that still need optics...
I'm sorry but the thumbnail makes me say Erka Derka
Thinking about buying this case ...looks great!
how does it look and perform after a thousands arrows?
The arrows pull out of my high roller target extremely easy! They blow clear thru the target and I go hunt for my arrows in the back 40....lol no such thing as self healing foam. My arrows were blowing chunks out the backside of the high roller target after 50 shots with field points....
Matthew Kubik hmmm maybe it's defective. I have a high roller plus shooting with a Matthews triax at 70lbs and have not seen this.
Same exact thing happen with my high roller after one day around 40 shots. Returning it today.
For everyone interested in these, do not buy one, spend your money on literally anything else. These are gun show cheapo Chinese Scopes, are not clear, made like crap, and are waaaaay over sold. Stay away
You don't know what your talking about these scopes are amazing. I'll never buy another scope especially for the quality you get for the money.
dude I wish I researched them before I wasted 100$ on a reflex, absolutely garbage, I can literally see a square projected around the reticle from the glass closest to the laser, honestly probably plastic not glass
I just ordered my stuff today to start mock scrapes.
Im intrigued by the Osprey 1-8x and especially their 1-10x and 1-12x SFP scopes. I mean, a 1-12x? WOW! And being SFP the incredible mag range shouldnt be an issue with the reticle being too small on 1x and too large on max mag like a FFP optic would have. Looking forward to seeing some reviews. So far and overall, the general concensus isnt good but ill give them a chance. I doubt anything will bump my Primary Arms SFP 1-8x ACSS and platinum FFP 1-8x ACSS scopes off my primary rifles but ill give it a chance. A 1-12x with good glass and a good ranging BDC reticle with daylight bright illumination for under $1000 would be AWESOME! Well.see....
Don’t buy it. I bought a 1-8x and literally worst scope I’ve ever had. Picture is disfigured around the edge of optic, is FFP but when zoomed to 8x, reticle is so huge and not a precise sight picture. Worst purchase I’ve ever made
Just a fyi, this is not the covert pro, covert pro is power dot single or optional double pin. Amazing bow sights!
Before the new covert pro 2 pin sight and and single digital pin sight, it was indeed called the covert pro 4 pin. It was then rebranded a year after this was made, to the covert. I'm sponsored by them, so any information in this video was correct at the time of filming. Thanks for your comment.
@@NoBoundariesOutdoors wow I did not know that thanks for the info. I have shot the covert for a few years, and just ordered the pro for my new pro defiant. Best sight ever!
@ Louster - You clearly dont understand what you are reading. The broadhead will deploy in ANY target including foam. When you practice, a practice clip keeps the point from deploying the blades. They want you to use only foam with the clip in so the clip does not get damaged during practice.
I call BS about the warranty through them. Just got and email from them about my Mathews QAD rest. They said that since it has the Mathews name on it I had to go to Mathews for the warranty repair.
Not deploying in a foam target concerns me, as stated on your web site. I know the rip and grip saying with hair and skin, but contact with foam should produce 7 lbs of pressure. I really interested in these, but around here deer are sparse and opportunities are fewer, I would hate to loose one due to non deployment
The Louster not all foam produces enough kinetic energy to deploy them. I used these last year, killed two deer with 1 head. 1 deer never made it 50 yards.
@@thetechbuzz thanks for the response. These are on my watch list
There are a lot of bad reviews on this head. The penetration is terrible.
Not a great salesman
Love beating up my high roller. Cant wait to get my hands on a little bigger one.
Intro to long!
Yep, I switched it to 15 seconds after watching 3 of them. Sometimes you have to put things out there and do trial and error before finding a good combination. Thanks for your comment.
Keep at it seen some of yours from last year good stuff
